University College Hampstead Bursaries and Scholarships

Bursaries are financial rewards that cover anywhere from 10% to 100% of tuition costs. They also provide help with extracurricular activities like field excursions that are directly relevant to the curriculum. These may involve fieldwork, concerts, and so on. Additionally, we offer bursary students a free digital device (a Chromebook at the moment).

The yearly school fees for the bearer of a music scholarship at UCS will be reduced by 10% to 25%. An award of up to 50% of fees may be awarded in extreme circumstances. The exact amount will be determined by the quality of candidates and the ensuing competition in any given year. According to the Director of Music’s judgement, music scholars are also entitled to free instrumental instruction at school for any instrument, including the voice.
