Preparing for The Rochester Grammar 11 Plus Exam 2024
The 11 Plus exam at Rochester Grammar School consists of:

- a maths exam
- a test of English (extended writing)
GL Assessment creates both the verbal reasoning and maths assessments. The English exam consists of one essay.

Any application for admission to the academy outside of the regular admissions cycle should be sent directly to the school, and the school will conduct its own entrance exam (to be considered selective) for admission, which will be done in accordance with a schedule that has been made public. * 11+ testing is only valid for admittance to Year 7 within the co-ordinated programme dates. No other selection procedure will be accepted.
The oversubscription criteria outlined in the complete admissions policy will apply if there are more applications than there are openings.
Children with SEND statements, where the academy is identified, will be given preference over PAN. The Academy retains the right to bring up this matter with pertinent organisations.
