Southend High Girls 11 Plus Admissions Process: 2024 Entry

Southend High School for Girls is part of a group of selective schools called the Consortium of Selective Schools in Essex (CSSE). All grammar schools in this group have similar admission arrangements and use the same 11 plus test for all applicants. To apply for a place at Southend High School for Girls, parents need to complete two forms. First, they must register their child for the CSSE 11 plus exam on the CSSE website during the registration period, which runs from May to June or early July. Second, they must submit a common application form (CAF) on the Essex County Council website between September and October, naming Southend High School for Girls as their preferred school.
