In Elstree, Hertfordshire, England, the Haberdashers’ Boys’ School, usually known as Haberdashers’, Habs, or Habs Boys, was formerly known as the Haberdashers Aske’s Boys School until September 2021. The school is a part of the Rugby Group and the Headmasters and Headmistresses Conference.
The Elstree Schools of The Haberdashers is proud to share their great GCSE results. At Habs Girls, 54% of the grades given out were 9, and 91% of the grades given out at Habs Boys were 7-9 or above. In A Levels, 52% of grades awarded were A* and 86% A* to A; and over at Habs Girls, 52% of the grades awarded were A* and 85% A* to A.

Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys’ Admissions Guide for 11 Plus Entry
The deadline for submitting registration forms for Year 7 spots is in November of the year before entry. The entrance exams, which include a 90-minute online reasoning test (CEM Select), take place in the middle of December. Top-performing candidates will be asked back to the school for an interview the following month. On this occasion, their English and maths aptitudes will be evaluated. A team project will also be assigned.

2023 Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys’ 11+ Exam Format
The Round 1 11+ exam at Haberdashers’ Boys’ School consists of CEM Select structure. Through a series of quick, online courses, the CEM Select evaluates verbal, non-verbal, and numerical skills. Your child will be judged in the following categories during the 11+ interview session or Round 2 testing at Haberdashers’ Boys’ School; Maths and English. The English examination looks at writing and comprehension abilities, as well as vocabulary, spelling, and grammar. Good use of imagination, creativity, form, purpose, organisation, cohesiveness, and sentence structure will earn you points. Arithmetic and problem-solving skills are measured in the maths assessment. Questions on measurement, geometry, algebra, and statistics may be present on the test.
