The Godolphin and Latymer School
Iffley Rd, London W6 0PG
A private day school for girls, The Godolphin and Latymer School is located in Hammersmith, West London. Francha Leale Toge, which translates to “free and faithful art thou,” is an old Cornish saying that serves as the school’s motto. A double-headed white eagle, known in Cornish as Godolphin, appears on the school crest. The school was described as “Very good academic school with a welcoming culture, an outstanding head, and a broad choice of extracurricular activities” by the Good Schools Guide. Year 11 students got outstanding results on their GCSE 2022, with 89% of the grades awarded being Grade 9 or 8. In A Levels 2022, an incredible 90.9% of all grades were awarded A*/A. Over 95% of students have secured places at their first-choice university on a wide range of courses including Architecture, Art History, Biochem, Biomed, Business Management, Chemistry, Classics, English Literature, Economics, Geography, History, Law, Liberal Arts, Modern Foreign Languages, Psychology, Philosophy, Medicine, Natural Sciences, Neuroscience, Veterinary Medicine and Zoology.

2023 Godolphin and Latymer School 11+ Exam Format
London Consortium schools use a unique two-part online evaluation for 11+ entrance. English, Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, and Mathematics are all covered in Part 1. Exercises in problem-solving and analysis make up Part 2. There won’t be a written portion to the test.
Godolphin and Latymer School Bursaries and Scholarships
At Godolphin and Latymer, we don’t give academic scholarships, but we do offer music scholarships for outstanding children at ages 11 and above and art awards for older kids. If necessary, applicants for means-tested bursaries may also submit an application for a scholarship.
Music Scholarship
This can cover up to 30% of tuition and is available to outstanding musicians who meet the requirements for entrance into Year 7. The prize could, however, be increased if bursary money were made available. In the Sixth Form, a different music scholarship might be available. Free music lessons for one or two instruments are also offered as part of music scholarships.
Requesting a Scholarship
You must submit an application using the standard procedure, which entails two steps: registration, followed by the issuance of examination entry forms in October prior to entry. Details about the music scholarship can be requested on the examination entry form (and if applying for Sixth Form, the Art scholarship). We can give you more information as soon as the examination entry forms are released.
