Francis Holland School, Regent’s Park is an independent day school for girls aged 11-18, founded in 1878. The School is located in North West London, England. The headmaster of the School is Mrs Katharine Woodcock. There are about 500 pupils at the school, and about 120 sixth-formers. The entry point of the School is 11+ and 16+. In 2022 GCSEs, 60% grades A*, 86% grades A*-A. In 2022 A levels, nearly half of the School’s A Level students achieved only A* and A grades and 90% of all papers were graded at A*, A or B.

Along with its sister school in Sloane Square, Francis Holland School in Regent’s Park is a member of the London 11+ Consortium, a collection of 14 independent day schools for girls in London that all take the same test. Please be advised that http://london11plus.co.uk/ is the Consortium’s ONLY official website and that other websites with similar names but no affiliation with or endorsement from the London 11+ Consortium should not be trusted. The London 11+ Consortium is introducing a customised assessment process for students entering in 2023 that goes beyond evaluating cognitive ability alone and aims to identify a child’s potential in creative and critical thinking, analysis, synthesis, and problem-solving.

2023 Francis Holland School, Regent’s Park 11+ Exam Format 

The 11+ exam’s format has altered according to the London Consortium. Currently, a two-part, customised online assessment is required for entry into Year 7. English, Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, and Mathematics are all covered in Part 1. Exercises in problem-solving and analysis make up Part 2. There won’t be a written portion to the test.

Academic scholarships worth up to 5% of fees are available for students in years 7 and up.

Sixth Form: Up to 25% of tuition in internal and external academic scholarships for 16+ students are available.

Year 7: 11+ Scholarships for music are offered up to 5% of costs.

Sixth Form: 16+ Music Scholarships up to 25% of Fees are Available

FAQ

When will the new Consortium admission test be available?

Year 6 students who are entering senior school in September 2023 will be the first applicants for the new Consortium entrance exam, which will be administered in December 2022.

What important dates and times do I need to be aware of?

Any Consortium school must receive applications by Friday, November 11, 2022.

There are three test dates: Friday, December 2, Tuesday, December 6, and Thursday, December 8. No matter how many Consortium schools a candidate applies to, they only need to take the assessment once.

Offers will be sent out on Friday, February 10, and acceptances must be received by Monday, March 6, at noon.
