Forest School Bursaries and Scholarships
Students that exhibit proficiency after a rigorous testing procedure are given scholarships. At the 11+ and 16+ age ranges, scholarships are given out for success in academics, sport, music, art, and theatre. No matter whether a student excels in one area of excellence or a combination of one or more areas of excellence, the maximum Scholarship awarded to any one student is a 20% remission of the full School fee. However, the majority of scholarships will be given out in lower amounts, often 5% or 10%.
Beyond the Classroom
Clubs and Societies are active before school, during lunch, and after school. They cater to a variety of interests, including mythology, street cuisine, coding, and astronomy in addition to sports, music, and theater. Students can push themselves and their friends in the Debating Club, pursue their ideas in the 3D Printing Club, and compete for nations in hockey. We encourage students to form clubs of their own; recently formed clubs have been well-subscribed and have sent teams to national championships. The Warhammer Club joined this list recently after taking first place in the Games Workshop heats in Basildon.
