 A Brief Overview of Sale Grammar School School and its Performance

Sale Grammar School School’s Admissions Process: 2024 Entry

Parents must sign up their children for Sale Grammar’s admission exam in order to apply for a spot at the school. From early May through late June, a link to the registration form will be posted on the school’s admissions page. Contact the elementary schools in the catchment region for further details about registration. Parents must complete a Local Authority Common Preference Form in addition to the registration form. On the form, Sale Grammar School should be put in order of choice. Applications that are received after the deadline will only be taken into consideration after all other applications.

Preparing for Sale Grammar School School’s 11 Plus Exam

From 2023 for admission in 2024 and after, GL Assessment will be the test supplier for Year 7 entry testing. The exam’s content—maths, verbal reasoning, and non-verbal reasoning—will stay the same as it has in the past, as indicated in our admission standards. Maths, verbal thinking, and non-verbal reasoning are still covered, as per our admissions rules. We do not yet know the exam’s content or question kinds, but questions will only be allowed to evaluate these skills in a variety of ways. For the Trafford Consortium, GL is developing a custom exam so that kids taking it won’t take it at any other school. While our own package will be accessible in the spring term, the question kinds will be comparable to those offered in the familiarisation material. Two exam papers, each lasting about an hour, will be made available by GL and will assess all three abilities.
