Palmers Green High School is an independent day school for girls aged 3 to 16. The school is situated in Palmers Green, North London, on Hoppers Road. The Alice Nursery, Preparatory, Junior School, and Senior School are the school’s four divisions. All students in the Senior School are in grades 8 through 11. There is no sixth form there. A*/9 to A/7 grades made up 85% of the school’s overall proportion of GCSEs in 2022, while A*/9 to 8 was 65%.

Palmers Green High School Admissions Guide for 11 Plus Entry 

Candidates take age-appropriate English, Math, and Reasoning exams to be considered for admittance into the 11+ programme. The ISEB Common Pre-test is used for the mathematics, English (comprehension), and reasoning (NVR and VR) examinations. Additionally, students taking Creative Writing will complete a conventional written assignment. Online practice exams for the ISEB are accessible here, and more general material is available here.

Along with completing the PGHS registration form, parents/guardians are needed to register their girls directly with ISEB online. It is recommended that families subscribe to the ISEB mailing list here. In September, online registration for the ISEB Common Pre-test will start.

Palmers Green High School Bursaries and Scholarships 

Depending on how well she does on the admission exams, the school can give your daughter an Academic Scholarship or Subject Award. The school also gives Music Awards for students in grades 11 and up. These are accessible to extraordinary musicians who can sing or play an instrument very well. It should be noted that applicants for music prizes must also succeed on the academic entrance exam. Open Days
