Beyond the Classroom

Students can address contemporary concerns, take an interest in other people’s well-being, and build a strong social conscience through clubs and societies. The student-run Charity Drive oversees the School’s charity endeavours. In the Young Enterprise programme, the boys have achieved great success with their socially responsible goods and services. At Taylors’, charitable and business endeavours work hand in hand as part of a larger dedication to ethical social enterprise.

FAQ

  • How many young men apply? How many locations do you provide?

500 or so lads apply. We spoke to roughly 220 people. We provide roughly 170 locations. Offers are welcomed from 70 to 75. These figures don’t change from year to year. We always speak with the brothers of students who are already enrolled.

  • When should I apply?

Your son must be 11 years old by September 1 of the entry year and no younger than 10 years, 6 months, unless there are exceptional circumstances.

Before October 31 of the year before the proposed year of entry, you must register your son.

  • How do boys are assessed at the school?

Based on success in three categories, we make proposals.

  • When will I learn the outcome? When must I make a decision?

In compliance with local independent school regulations, we issue admission offers to parents in the year of enrollment for students who are 11 or older. At the end of February, we mailed out placement offers. The deadline for all responses (places, scholarships, and bursaries) will vary from year to year; it should be no later than the end of the first week of March.
