Preparing for King Edward VI Stratford 11 Plus Exam 

There are two test papers in the King Edward VI Shakespeare’s School 11 Plus exam, and each one lasts around 60 minutes. They include:

• English Comprehension
• Verbal Reasoning 
• Mathematics
• Verbal and spatial reasoning 

Inference is one of the comprehension abilities tested on the English Comprehension exam. There won’t be any writing involved. The Verbal Reasoning component of the test evaluates vocabulary, logical reasoning, and English language usage. The maths exam includes questions on number, measurement, geometry, algebra, and statistics as well as problems that test problem-solving and arithmetic skills.
