Bedford Modern School a co-educational independent day school for pupils aged 7-18. The S school is located in Bedford, England and it is a member of Headmasters’ and Headmistresses’ Conference. The school first was created as The Harpur Trust, by Sir William Harpur in the 16th century. The School has a junior and senior school, has a capacity of 1300 in total and now educates 1282 pupils. Bedford Modern School Admissions Guide for 11 Plus Entry
After the open events, you should register your kid at the first stage of the admissions process. For entrance in September, full registration forms must be received by the deadline in December of the preceding year. In January, your kid will take admission exams that will include written exams and an online test (resembling CAT). The deadline for accepting the results is in March, and the results will be received in February. Additionally, a senior staff member will be interviewed.
2023 Bedford Modern School 11 Plus Exam Format
The parts to Bedford Modern School’s 11+ exam are English, maths and online test.
The writing activity on the English paper is intended to assess your child’s writing abilities, including grammar and spelling. The purpose of the maths exam is to gauge your child’s aptitude for applying mathematical ideas. There will be questions on measuring, geometry, algebra, and statistics on the test. Through sections that analyse Verbal, Non-Verbal, Spatial, and Quantitative Reasoning, the online examination seeks to evaluate evolved abilities.
