Educating your child at home is easier than ever. See how we’re helping children achieve their full potential in maths.
A fully interactive learning experience
Our goal is to help your child achieve their full potential. Your child will enjoy lots of opportunities to have fun through maths challenges, games, and more so that they’re fully engaged.
Every child has an opportunity to participate
Whether your child is outgoing or shy, our teachers ensure that every pupil has an equal amount of time to participate in class. Every child is invited to participate via the video link to discuss questions and get feedback from their teacher.
Rewarding pupils during class time
We don’t just reward the correct answer, we reward effort! Every child will receive rewards such as virtual stickers, encouraging them to make progress in maths and study hard.
Creating the perfect learning environment for your child
We understand that every child learns differently. That’s why we have a flexible classroom. Your child can switch camera views so that they only see their teacher. If the chatbox function is too distracting, they can switch it off, creating an optimal learning environment.
Usually classes take place without a hitch, but if you are experiencing problems with the connection, then please try the following: 1) Refresh the class. 2) Restart the Think Academy app. 3) Restart your internet via the mains. If you are still experiencing difficulties, please contact your child’s teaching assistant.
The chatbox function allows all the pupils to interact with their teacher in a group setting. If you feel this is distracting your child, you can simply turn it off to interact with the teacher only.
Coins are linked to your child’s account. Reinstalling or updating software will not affect your child’s coins.
A: If your child is not purposely closing the game, they can continue to play if they quit and re-enter the classroom.
The number of pupils per class differs, some classes have less than 10 pupils whereas others may have more than 20. However, your child will only ever see 3 other pupils, providing a more intimate learning environment.
If all the other pupils can hear the teacher, it might be that your internet connection is unstable. Tap the ‘refresh’ button to solve this and restore your connection.
