Ardingly College is an independent boarding and day school for boys and girls aged 2 to 18. The College is located near Ardingly, West Sussex, England. Educating around 1,100 pupils, there is also a linked junior school. It was founded as St Saviour’s College in 1858 by Nathaniel Woodward. The current headmaster is Ben Figgis.  In 2022 GCSEs, 79% of entries were graded 9-7 (the equivalent of A* or A grade). 34 scored a full set of 9s and 8s (A* equivalent) and 12 achieved all 9s. 100% of the GCSE cohort qualified for continuation into the Sixth Form. In 2022 A Levels, Over a third of entries (37%) achieved the top grade of A* or the IB equivalent 7 (23% in 2019). Over 2/3rds (71%) achieved either and A*/A or 7/6 (64% in 2019).Upper Sixth cohort of 133 students between them achieved 377 of the top two grades A*/A or 7/6.

Ardingly College Admissions Guide for 11 Plus Entry 

Following the open events, the first stage of the admissions process will involve asking for your child’s current school report and references.

On Aspire to Ardingly Day, entrance exams are given. Your kid will be evaluated utilising both an online test and a paper-based exam. There will be an interview as well.

Your child’s performance will be taken into consideration when a seat is offered, and a deposit is needed to hold the spot. This comes to $2000, of which half is credited in the first term and half is repaid when your kid graduates from Ardingly College.
